New Labour

New Labour has evolved from its traditional socialist roots to a more centrist position, especially since the 1997 under Tony Blair's "New Labour".
The party now supports a diversified approach to the economy which aims to combine state support for public services like the NHS with acceptance of free market principles.
Labour continues to, in principle at least, advocate for social justice, workers' rights, with aims to reduce inequality.
The most recent leaders are Keir Starmer and Jeremy Corbyn. Corbyn represented a shift back towards more traditional left-wing policies. Starmer on the other hand, has taken a more moderate approach, arguably to appeal to more centrist voters.

The current Labour Party goals: "Plan for Change"

Economic stability: "Labour is turning the page on economic chaos. Every decision we make in Government is guided by our commitmet to strong fiscal rules"
Secure Borders: "Labour is seriuous about border control"
National Security: "Labour will never compromise on keeping Britain safe."
